Five Wedding Dress Trends for 2023

You know spring is just around the corner when wedding dress trends start to emerge and honestly, we are loving these!

From detachable sleeves (hello two looks!) to floral details to bows, here are five wedding dress trends for 2023 to start you dreaming about what your dress could look like.

Detachable Sleeves

Detachable sleeves come in a bunch of different flavors. You can add a puff sleeve to any gown like this:

Or you can go for bishop sleeve that looks like this.

Puff sleeves typically just slide up your arm and stay with elastic. A detachable bishop sleeve meanwhile usually attaches to the dress itself with buttons or snaps.

If boho is more your style, then we are obsessed with these cape sleeves that hook onto the dress at your shoulders and basically make you look like a winged goddess.

One of the reasons we love detachable sleeves is it’s a really easy way to create two distinct looks for your wedding day without completely changing your outfit. They are cute, photograph beautifully and are a super easy way to jump on a trend while still maintaining a classic look.

3D Florals

This year, designers are adding dimension to their gowns with 3-D florals, and we have some incredible examples of that here at Amanda’s Touch. Here are two examples of what 3-D florals look like on two very different dresses.

Sometimes the 3-D is a little more subtle like you can see here.

But sometimes they are a big statement like can be seen more from this one!

We love how this trend really works for a bunch of different styles of bride. It’s a good fit for brides who want a little more boho or edgy gown, but also can add a little bit of subtle texture to otherwise classic dress.

Off-the-Shoulder

Off-the-shoulder is a big trend for 2023 wedding dresses. Sometimes it can be elaborate and detailed like you can see in this sleeve.

But sometimes it’s a little bit more of a simple accent as can be seen in this lace-sleeved dress.

Off-the-shoulder dresses are a really good fit for people who love the strapless look but may want to cover their arms. Or for people who want to lean into those Disney princess vibes on their wedding day!

Bow Details

Bows are IN. They can be seen in beautiful shoulder strap details like this,

In subtle belt details like this,

Or in statement back details on an otherwise simple dress like this!

Bows are feminine and flirty and can add a little bit of detail and elegance to otherwise simple dresses. They basically work no matter what kind of style of wedding dress you are going for!

Sheer/See-Through Elements

Sheer is a big trend for 2023. Sometimes it’s flirty and bold, but often it’s more subtle and just adds texture and detail and elegance.

Take these beautiful lace sleeves on this otherwise classic wedding dress.
