Tips for Shopping for Your Wedding Dress

We know how exciting and let’s be honest, sometimes overwhelming wedding dress shopping  can be. From bringing all the right people to making sure you choose the right boutique, there are quite a few factors for a bride to consider when dress shopping. We’ve created the ultimate cheat sheet for the bride-to-be who wants to ensure her dress-shopping experience is as magical and unforgettable as possible!

Choosing Your Entourage

It’s a common misconception that you should bring your best friend, mom, future mother-in-law, cousins, siblings, and that roommate you haven’t talked to since college, however, we suggest only bringing the few people whose opinions matter to you most. Take a moment to sit back and think about who you can’t picture saying “Yes!” without and remember that it’s exciting for everyone, not just your partner, to be surprised when you walk down the aisle in the dress you choose!

Each Amanda’s Touch Boutique provides the same well-known experience while catering a slightly different atmosphere and dress selection. Looking for chic, sexy, or bohemian-style wedding dresses? What to Bring to Your Appointment

This is a question we get all the time, and the answer isn’t as complicated as you may think! All of the gowns at Amanda’s Touch have cups sewn into them so you won’t need to wear a bra while trying on (as long as you’re more comfortable wearing one, of course!) If you have shoes or jewelry that you’re planning to wear on your wedding day, feel free to bring those as well! We also suggest bringing a hair clip if you plan to do any type of updo on your wedding day!

What to Expect Before Your Appointment

It’s no secret that our dedicated team of stylists is passionate about giving you the best experience possible. Once you schedule your appointment at an Amanda’s Touch Boutique, a personal stylist will be assigned to help you every step of the way! Your stylist will reach out via text the week of your appointment to learn more about you and your wedding vision. This is when you’ll want to send over any inspo photos and let us know the details that are most important to you when it comes to how you look and feel on your wedding day!
